This class will be taught online and you can take part from the comfort of your own home. The RCS campus is open with a limited capacity for degree students only to ensure a safe learning environment for all.

This online weekly class for young people in Secondary 1- 6 is designed for those who have an interest in developing screen acting skills and techniques.
Students will work with a wide range of text, from comedies to drama, dramatic monologues to rapid fire dialogue scenes. This willculminate in the students selecting at least one piece of text to be developed and performed for camera at the end of the term. This may be a piece delivered direct to camera, as a voiceover with a short visual film to accompany it or take on another form entirely. Throughout the whole process the students will be guided by their tutor and receive feedback to help them develop their performance.
The course aims to provide a practical and immersive experience which allows students to gain an understanding of the essential aspects of acting for camera and it will be a mixture of acting technique and technical guidance to create the bestpiece of filmed performance possible.
