This class will be taught online and you can take part from the comfort of your own home. The RCS campus will re-open in September with a limited capacity for degree students only to ensure a safe learning environment for all.

This 10-week online course is for people aged 16+ who wish to develop their on screen and on-set skills and knowledge.

The course will involve a series of masterclasses, practical workshops and Q&A sessions that explore your professional practice. The course will include sessions on textual analysis, casting, self-tapes and on set etiquette. The sessions will be delivered by experienced professionals including casting actors, casting agents, directors and filmmakers.

By the end of the course you will have:

  • Developed text analysis and character development skills
  • Taken part in a mock casting session
  • Created your own self-tape and received feedback on it
  • Had the opportunity to work with a casting director
  • Knowledge of on-set etiquette and protocol
