The Pre-Junior Conservatoire of Music programme aims to inspire and teach the next generation of musicians, starting with core skills at an early education level.
Our students will receive a one-to-one lesson, perform in a choir and have a rhythm and musicianship lesson per week in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Our young musicians work with tutors who have decades of experience teaching early years education.
In addition, students will be offered the opportunity to undertake an additional instrument and, depending on ability, students may be offered the opportunity to play in one of our ensembles.
Two Pre-Junior concerts take place each year for family and friends.
Applications for session 2020/21 have now closed. Applications for session 2021/22 will open in October 2020. If you have any queries regarding the application process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, we are only able to accept applications from students who are currently receiving instrumental lessons in their chosen principal study.
